I cannot express how wonderful the experience was at Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse Restaurant. From the delicious food to the attentive servers and talented chef Agustín, it was truly marvelous.

It was good, I have no complaints food or service wise. Everyone was very nice. We got sushi and Tokyo is higher priced compared to other sushi restaurants but Tokyo is definitely fancier than other restaurants I've been to. Something to be aware of 18% gratuity is added for groups of 2 or more which is something new to me. Im used to party's 6 or more so it was a small suprise at the end to have 18% added ontop

*UPDATE 5/21/24* BEWARE!!!! BEWARE!!! They now add an 18% tip to your bill and don't bother to tell you beforehand. Patrons beware! Marriza was an excellent server!!!! Food was great as always! Had a Super Crunch Roll, Gyoza, and fried rice (came out later-no photo). Love Tokyo!! Best in Albany for sushi and hibachi!!

Waitress was friendly and helpful. We sat at a regular table and received our soup, salad, and hibachi pretty quickly. One person in our party got the sushi she ordered for her meal AFTER we were done eating hibachi. They need to work on timing of food. I know everyone was working as fast as thry could, but soup & salad could've been staggered and they could've timed cooking the hibachi with the pace of the sushi chef.

Augustine was the BEST and put on a great show for my birthday. He kept us laughing and made my day special. Y’all have someone special here, he exceeded expectations. Me and my family will be back!!

First visit and food was great and we had enough. My whole family visited and we're happy. They enjoyed the food. Four years to seventy two, seven in the party, we were enjoyable surprise. My daughter had been before and I was there was new management. All they need to do is be consistent. .

One of my FAVORITE places to get sushi (especially deep fried). Everything is so good that I had to start a ranking on my phone of my top sushi dishes. The adult beverages are very reasonable and good. I love when Jay is our server. I have never had a server that was not pleasant. Just a fyi gratuity is added automatically for 2+ people. I have tons of sushi pics but below is the Tsunami and Vegas rolls

Everything was great and the waitress picked the sushi out for me and my husband and it was outstanding. It was our first time eating sushi but it want be our last time
